I’ve been using this product for about a week and a half, so I’ll probably come back and add on to my review once I’ve had more time to test it out. It’s extremely convenient, I must say. It’s not overly greasy and it’s a great massage oil or carrier oil for essential oils. I love the pump, and I love that a little goes a long way. 8 oz will last me a long time, I think.
I had been using coconut oil to cleanse my face at night, but once I got this I started using it. It works every bit as well as coconut oil for removing makeup and I haven’t had any problems with breakouts. My skin doesn’t really look any better or worse than the coconut oil, but this is far more convenient than scooping the coconut oil out of a tub. It also doesn’t have a scent, so that’s nice. I tried using this in my hair, but even a little bit makes my hair look super oily.
My husband has been using this on his hands for an eczema flareup and he says that some days it seems to help and other days not so much. So after we’ve used it for longer I’ll edit this review to see if anything has changed. Overall I would recommend this oil, but I haven’t used another SAO so I don’t have anything else to compare it to really. I will say that the packaging is oddly generic, which doesn’t give me a ton of faith in the company. Unless this is an unbeatable price, I don’t see much reason to choose this over other organic SAO oils. Just my opinion.

I was looking for a carrier oil for my essential oils.I had not tried sweet almond oil before and was curious to see if it would work on my 50 + dry skin. It does. Not only does it smooth your skin it stays on and feels smooth over ten hours later. My fine lines are less noticeable, still there but not as noticeable. I like the fact that it is odorless and I can add scent depending on my mood or go scent free. The only issue I had with it was that in shipping, it leaked a small amount. It was tightly wrapped in plastic so it was not a complete mess but required some cleaning up after opening it. This may be due to the fact that we are enduring 100 degree days and got pressurised. Overall it is a wonderful natural skin product.

One of my all time favorites! Love this organic sweet almond oil so much! This has so many different types of use, I personally love to lather this all over my body and use it as a deep conditioning treatment overnight. I will take a mid size towel and put it in the dryer for about 10 minutes. After showering, I will put this almond oil in my hair, starting with my ends and focusing on the ends is important. I will then take the heated towel and wrap my head. I will leave this on for a good 20 minutes and then I wrap my hair with a silk tie to sleep in. The next morning I will rinse the almond oil out and style as usual. My hair becomes the silkiest that it has ever been! Again, this product goes a long way, so putting in your hair, just takes a minimal amount. The formula of this almond oil is amazing. I highly recommend this and especially that winter is on the horizon, with the heat cranked up inside your home, this will save your hair!

I have used and loved coconut oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, and baby oil. This was my first experience with organic almond oil. When the package arrived it was very well packed and came in a sturdy tube packed safely inside a box. It also had a safety seal on the tube so you could easily tell if it had been tampered with. I appreciated the extra effort that the company took in insuring the product arrived safely and in such a manner I would have no hesitation in using it. I have received some products in the past that don’t have a safety seal and I’m always leery as to whether or not it’s worth taking the risk in using them. The product itself is also very high quality. It comes in a pump bottle for easy dispensing and takes very little to moisturize your skin and can even be used as a deep conditioner for your hair. I have been so happy with other oils I am using that I may not have taken advantage of the offer without some prodding from my daughter. She had used it and told me I wouldn’t regret the purchase. I didn’t know what to expect from this oil since I had never used skin oils before. I kind of thought it would be really greasy and leave my skin oily looking. I’ve used it a few times since it arrived and so far I like it. One little squirt of this oil will do both arms and my face and neck. It takes a few more for the rest of my body. It does need to be rubbed in really, really good. If not, then yeah it does feel kind of greasy. But once it’s rubbed in and starts to absorb, my skin feels wonderful. It’s so soft and silky. I can’t get enough of it. I’m still trying to figure out how to use the essential oils to mix with it to make it smell good. The only down side so far that I’ve seen to this oil is that can make your hair a little too shiny and oily looking. But I think that’s my fault. I’m just learning about all this stuff, so I could have used too much.

Finally, a oil that will saturate the skin! I don’t know if anyone else is like me, but my skin and hair seem to devour moisture and I’m always itching dead, dry skin and constantly stacked with different lotions and creams like some bag lady. When trying to pack light or even leave for work in a dash, it’s simply not possible if I wanna look my best. I have eczema and it’s very dry and painful skin. Sometimes I’m reapplying lotion 3-4 times a day just to keep it manageable. With almond oil, it soaks right into my skin. I use it right out of the shower and it has a nice and pleasant scent. I can go through a workday, sit through traffic in the hot sun and still manage to feel soft and silky. This oil won’t dry out even if I’m in the heat or in my freezing cold work office. There’s so many uses for almond oil, it’s really amazing. You can also add some lavender of chamomile essential oils to it, to give you a calming and moisturizing oil that’s wonderful for the skin and relaxing! Also, it’s good for your hair. Almond oil is very light in texture and won’t leave your hair feeling greasy or bogged down. It will give your hair some excellent shine and bounce! This oil moisturizes my skin the entire day. I definitely noticed great results on my skin. It helped diminish my dry flaky skin mostly on my back. It prevents my from drying and it leaves my skin smooth. I don’t see new acne coming out on my back, and the existing ones has dried up and disappear. It is also perfect to apply on my skin after I exfoliate. I can feel that my skin really absorbed the oil but it doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable and or leave my skin greasy. The best thing about this skin oil is the stuff that in it, it doesn’t contain any chemical and it’s made from 100% cold pressed sweet almond oil, I cannot usually find this from any skincare product that are being sold in the market, Almond oil could maybe only 10% of its ingredients but not 100%, so with this product I can guarantee that I could get the maximum nutrient of Almond oil and plus its organic and it doesn’t have scent which I love. This is a great mixing/carrier oil. I make a lot of my own body products so that I can avoid artificial fragrances and treat a skin condition that I have. So I use a pretty wide variety of natural oils and butters. This particular oil was smooth, scent free, and a rich straw color, just what I would have expected. Sweet almond oil is great in everything, from lip balm to lotion bars. It’s also a great carrier for essential oils.
I have little roller bottles, and to treat migraines I mix up peppermint essential oil (10 drops or so) with this sweet almond oil as a carrier oil. Roll it on your forehead and it’s like magic. Especially for the nausea.

I am in love with this Lux skin oils. I couldn’t let a day past without applying this oil on my skin. I will definitely gonna stick with this product and use it for the rest of my life. Lol. Since I moved here in the US, I started to have skin problems, and I guess the weather here makes my skin very dry. I started to have a lot of breakouts and it doesn’t get heal faster. I also had terrible back acne. I already tried different products for acne, I have tried creams and even take homeophatic acne tablet and trying to fix the problem within my system but it seems nothing has worked. My friend suggested me that I should start using skin oils with Coconut oil or Almond oil. I was glad that I found this Lux Skin oil in here. I got this at a discounted price. It came in the mail very quick and I like that it was placed in a very nice and simple white canister and inside is a nice clear pump dispenser. I also like that I can see what is inside the bottle and and how much is the remaining content. I use this oil everyday, I apply it on my skin right after I take a shower and at night. This oil moisturizes my skin the entire day. I definitely noticed great results on my skin. It helped diminish my dry flaky skin mostly on my back. It prevents my from drying and it leaves my skin smooth. I don’t see new acne coming out on my back, and the existing ones has dried up and disappear. It is also perfect to apply on my skin after I exfoliate. I can feel that my skin really absorbed the oil but it doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable and or leave my skin greasy. The best thing about this skin oil is the stuff that in it, it doesn’t contain any chemical and it’s made from 100% cold pressed sweet almond oil, I cannot usually find this from any skincare product that are being sold in the market, Almond oil could maybe only 10% of its ingredients but not 100%, so with this product I can guarantee that I could get the maximum nutrient of Almond oil and plus its organic and it doesn’t have scent which I love. I have been using this skin oil for weeks now and used almost half of it.

This 100% Pure Organic Sweet Almond Oil by Lux comes in a protective tube that I truly am going to repurpose because it is nice. The almond oil is in a handsome plastic bottle that you can proudly display wherever you will use it most. I keep mine by my computer where I often am so I can moisturize my skin whenever I feel a bit dry. I use it on my hands, face, elbows and feet to great results. Afterwards they feel moisturized and renewed– but not oily. I do not like the oiliness of some products I have tried in the past.
I am also using the Lux Organic Sweet Almond Oil as a carrier oil with my essential oils. The scent of the oil is so faint that it is perfect as a base so that the scents of the essential oils really shine through for aromatherapy and other uses. I enjoy the almond better than others I have tried for its subtlety and its light quality. I recently experienced rather bad muscle pain [7/10 on pain scale] near the small of my back, so I added some peppermint oil to a 4 oz. essential oil mister bottle filled with the sweet almond oil and applied it liberally to the area. At first it seemed just to take the edge off of the pain, but fairly quickly the pain was gone and I was able to sleep.
It makes me feel great that I can put organic and natural products on to address any issues rather than slathering some store-bought concoction of chemicals onto my body. I try to get organic whenever possible, so I jumped at the chance to get this product at a discount for my honest, unbiased review.

I was admittedly skeptical about how well this product might work, but I was willing to try just about anything to work with both dry skin & psoriasis. The sweet almond oil is wonderful!! It soothes the skin affected by the psoriasis & has helped balance the moisture in dry skin areas, leaving skin incredibly soft. Despite being an oil, it absorbs quickly rather than leaving a greasy, oily feeling on the skin. Would definitely recommend this product!

I love using oils and making them for different uses. This one I mix with a few others to use as a skin treatment for my extreme dry skin and love it. Prescription lotions never seemed to help me but these pure oils are wonderful.

I love this product! Texture is great and doesn’t smell. The unscented ones I bought in the health shop had a “processed” smell to it (if that makes sense). I gave this four stars because I thought I was going to get more than one (it was expensive), since they grouped the items together in the display. But one? sigh. Five stars for the product though.

I have only been using the almond oil for a few days and I do like it. In a month I may love it. I have replaced organic coconut oil with the organic almond oil. I may be able to only need to apply it once a day instead of twice daily as with the coconut oil.
